High-Purity MIT Extract — Freebase

Freebase extract keeps the alkaloids in their neutral, non-salt form. It is the form most formulators specify when the material will be further processed or blended into a non-aqueous system.

Each grade is standardized to a nominal mitragynine content. The certificate for your lot reports the measured value, the full minor-alkaloid profile, and the 7-OH and MP results that the proposed federal threshold depends on.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between freebase and salt MIT extract?

Freebase keeps mitragynine in its neutral form, which dissolves in ethanol and organic solvents. Salt extract has been converted with an acid to a salt form, which is more water-soluble and usually more stable as a dry powder. Choose by how the material will be processed.

How do you control 7-OH in a concentrated extract?

Mitragynine can oxidize to 7-hydroxymitragynine during extraction and storage. We control temperature, light and oxygen exposure, and test every lot for 7-OH and mitragynine pseudoindoxyl. Lots above our internal limit are not sold.

Is there a minimum order?

The minimum commercial order is 1 kg per grade. Qualified buyers can request a 10 g evaluation sample with the matching COA.

Which countries do you ship to?

Only to jurisdictions where we have confirmed the material can be lawfully imported and sold to the buyer's business. See the shipping restrictions page for the current list.
